How to use Proton
Traders have the flexibility to choose how they wish to trade DAX® signals, whether through CFDs, futures, or leveraged instruments like open-end turbos. Each trader is responsible for selecting the derivatives that best suit their trading strategy. Fortunately, the process is straightforward.
LONG or SHORT entry signals are provided between 12 and 12.30 am CET. Entry is always a LIMIT ORDER valid for 24 hours.
The Take Profit is set at 8% profit, and the Stop Loss at 4% loss, both calculated from the entry signal. This creates a one-cancels-the-other bracket around the trade. If neither the take profit nor stop loss levels are triggered within five trading days, the trade will be closed automatically based on a time-based exit, which is provided in the Quant Trading Terminal.
In summary: Upon receiving a long or short signal, you place a limit order for entry along with take profit and stop loss levels. If the trade’s limits aren’t hit within five days, you’ll exit the position manually using the time-based exit provided.
